Olympic Worldcup 2016 - Weymouth GBR - Day 4 - the Swiss

Linda Fahrni/Maja Siegenthaler SUI are back on top of the 470 women after a successful day with the ranks 8/2/1 ! The will fight today with the Olympic Silver medalists Hannah Mills/Saskia Clarke GBR at equal points in the Medal Race late in the afternoon. Yannick Brauchli/Romuald Hausser SUI just made the Medal Race cut on rank 10 of the 470 men, but with a 10 points' backlog on rank 4, chances to move up are realistic. The third team of the Swiss Olympia squad, Matias Bühler/Nathalie Brugger SUI on rank 9, are qualified for the Medal Race of the Nacra 17 as well. Their deficit on Bronze is 12 points.

For all other Swiss, the Weymouth Worldcup has ended. Sébastien Schneiter/Lucien Cujean SUI concluded the competition with a 4th race rank in the 49ers ending on rank 18 overall. Guilaume Girod SUI is 25th in the Lasers Standard, and Lucie Ben-Amor SUI finished the event on rank 25 in the Lasers Radial as well.
