In Part II of the 2016 Kiel Week, the Olympic Classes, Switzerland is represented with two boats only. At the 470 Junior Worlds, David Biedermann/Max Haenssler SUI did not excell during the first three races occupying rank 35 only among the 50 participants on the ranking list. Guillaume Girod SUI had one perfect race in his Laser Standard group, finishing 3rd, and with a 28th place in the other heat, he is on rank 18 among the 110 participants on the ranking list.
