49er &49erFX - Junior World Championship 2016 - Lelstad NED - Final results

A new race format for the Semi-Finals and Finals (the 8 best) was tested at the 49er Junior World Championship on the Ijssel-Meer yesterday.
No change on top of the 49ers with Erwan Fischer/Thibault Julien FRA as World Champions ahead of Tim Fischer/ Fabian Graf GER. Bronze went to Meggendorfer/Spranger GER.
Thrilling however were the Finals of the 49ersFX. Bart Lambriex/ Philipp Meijer NED defended rank 1 with just one point ahead of Maria-Ottavia Raggio/Paola Bergamaski ITA. Daniel Bramervaer/Floris Van der Werken NED grasped Bronze.
