Melges 24 - European Championship 2016 - Hyères FRA - Day 2, the Swiss

After the windy opening day, a moderate Eastwind filled in yesterday, initially around 15 kn, decreasing to 10 kn during the day. Three races were completed again and Geoff Carveth GBR and his team defended the first place with the day ranks 2/4/2. Chris Rast SUI kept the pace of the leader with the ranks 4/3/1 and moved up on the 2nd place overall only 3 points behind the Brit. The 3rd Toonu Toniste EST is already 11 points back. The other Swiss have lost some positions. Jürg Hotz SUI is now 28th. Michael Good SUI dropped on the 33rd position after a premature start. Christoph Renker SUI is now 39th.
