The 17 participants of the solo Douarnenez-Horta-Douarnenez race have been resting on the Acores for three days to recover from the stress of leg 1. On the coming Saturday, the start to leg 2 back to Douarnenez FRA will be given. Yesteday, Justine Mettraux SUI, who was forced to abandon the first leg with a broken forestay, has reached Horta and will join the fleet on the starting line of leg 2.
