J/70 - Eurocup 2016 - Riva ITA - Day 1, the Swiss

The J/70 Eurocup on Lake Garda began yesterday in a rather light 8 to 12 kn Ora with three races dominated mostly by the Italian teams. Finishing on the ranks 1/5/1, Franco Solerio ITA is the first leader 11 points ahead of Carlo Alberini ITA (with Paul Cayard USA as tactician). The Swiss are on the positions 18 (Jean-François De Cerjeat SUI), 21 (Alain Stettler SUI) and 25 (Simon Thönen SUI) among the 37 teams from 8 nations.
