J/70 - Eurocup 2016 - Riva ITA - Day 2, the Swiss

The winds on the second day of the J/70 Eurocup on Lake Garda remained atypically light with two of the scheduled three races completed, allowing to discard the worst result at the end of the day. With another race win, Franco Solerio and his team extended the overall lead on 16 points. New on rank 2 is now Jose-Maria Torcida ESP. Carlo Alberini ITA (with Paul Cayard USA) follows on rank 3. The best Swiss Jean-François De Cerjeat SUI remained 18th, the best race finish went to Simon Thönen SUI, a 12th place, moving him up on rank 24 overall, two places behind his club mate Alain Stettler SUI.
