GC32-Catamaran - Extreme Sailing Series - Act 7 - Lisabon POR - Day 1, the Swiss

Light winds prevailed yesterday in Lisbon during the first 5 races of the 7th Act of the Extreme Sailing Series. 'Alinghi' with Arnaud Psarofaghis SUI played on her light-wind qualities winning two heats and taking the overall lead closely followed by the French 'Norauto'-Team with Adam Minoprio NZL steering, leader in the GC32 Racing Tour, who joined Extreme Sailing for the first time. The annual Series leader 'Oman Air' with Morgan Larson USA is on 3rd. Another newcomer to the Series is the all-female 'Thalassa Magenta Racing' team with Sharon Ferris NZL as skipper and among others Elodie-Jane Mettraux SUI. They are on the 8th place of the 9 teams participating.
