Melges 24 - European Sailing Series/Swiss Championship 2016 - Luino ITA - Day 1, the Swiss

A fresh Lago Maggiore thermal breeze permitted 3 races yesterday at the last Act of the Melges24 European Sailing Series with the Italian teams dominating on the ranks 1 to 5. Carlo Fracassoli ITA (with the World- and European Champion Chris Rast SUI boat) and Carlo Brenco ITA share the lead 3 points ahead of a tied duo with Nicola Bertola ITA and Andrea Pozzi ITA. The best Swiss is Michael Good SUI and his team on rank 11 at equal points with Kilian Wagen SUI 12th in his first Melges24 regatta.
