Sun and moderate winds prevailed in San Remo ITA on the first day of the International Optimist Meeting. Both fleets sailed two races each. In the elder Juniores, Arianna Giargia ITA has taken the overall lead ahead of Davide Manica ITA and Anthony Sanchez ITA. The best Swiss Noë Herrmann SUI on rank 7 is the best non-Italian. In the younger Cadetti, Matteo Mulone ITA leads closely followed by Daniele Delfino ITA and Gianpaolo Fellegara ITA. Thanks to a race win, Lars Dittel SUI is the best Swiss on rank 10, just ahead of Federico Perdicaro SUI as 11th. The event website with all results.
