Trophée Jules Verne - Trimaran IDEC - Day 16

After five days advancing at top speeds, Francis Joyon FRA and his team have compensated the backlog during the past night and were 170 nm ahead of the record this morning. 870 nm was the performance in 24 hours, an average speed of 36 kn. In two days, the Maxi-Trimaran 'IDEC' will pass Cape Leeuwin on the southwestern point of Australia.
