Optimist - International Trophy - Torrevieja ESP - Final results, the Swiss

After the unplanned break on Saturday due to a passing storm, racing was resumed yesterday to conclude the International Optimist Trophy of Torrevieja ESP (near Murcia) with another two races. Paul Hameeteman NED defended his lead with a 2nd race rank. Jose Toronjo ESP won both races of his group and moved up on rank 2 overall ahead of Marco Gradoni ITA at equal points on rank 3. The Swiss performed well in the large 381 boats' fleet from 16 nations. Maxime Thommen SUI finished 4th and missed the podium by only 2 points. With a race win in his group, Arnaud Grange SUI advanced on rank 7, and also Maxim Dneprov (rank 15), Anja Von Allmen SUI (rank 16 and 4th best girl) and Antonis Asonitis SUI (rank19) finished among the top-20.
