Star - Bacardi Cup - Miami FL, USA - Day 2, the Swiss

Fresh wind around 20kn, slightly diminishing towards the end of the almost 3hrs race, prevailed during race 2 of the 90th Bacardi Cup, for the first time a Star Sailors' League event. The postponed race 1 from the too windy opening day has been scheduled for today, Wednesday.
The experienced teams ruled the show yesterday with Xavier Rohart/Pierre-Alexis Ponsot FRA winning ahead of Mark Mendelblatt/Magnus Lilljedahl USA and Eivind Melleby/Joshua Revkin NOR/USA. Henrik Dannesboe/Jan Bonhoeffer SUI finished on the remarkable 18th place. With Jean-Pascal Chatagny/Serge Pulfer SUI on 23rd and Christoph Gautschi/Michael Sagmeister SUI on 28th, two more SUI teams finished in the first half of the 71 teams. The ranking list and the news.
