Optimist - North-American Championship 2017 - Toronto CAN - Day 2, the Swiss

The qualifying series racing to split the fleet in Gold, Silver and Bronze groups has finished at the 2017 Optimist North American Championship yesterday with three more races sailed in moderate winds. Five races were completed with three flights on the water. US sailors dominated with Stephan Baker USA first, 4 points ahead of Thomas Kerrigan USA and Peter Foley USA 6 points behind the leader.is in third with 11 points. The best Swiss is Luis Zimmerli SUI on rank 39. Joining him in the Goldfleet will be Paul Van der Klink SUI as 44th. Nik Burkhardt SUI on the 62nd place missed the Goldfleet by 4 points. Noe Herrmann SUI as 92nd will also continue the Championship in the Silverfleet.
Thursday will be Team Racing, while Saturday, Championship Individual Series will go on.
