Finals at the Marstrand World Match Racing Tour event.
The all-female team 'Magenta' of Sally Barkow USA as well as Elodie-Jane Mettraux SUI and Nathalie Brugger SUI qualified for the best 16, but were eliminated by David Gilmour AUS with 0-3. Already out in the Sail-Offs wa Eric Monnin SUI. The first Quarter Final slots in addition to David Gilmour AUS went to Yann Guichard FRA (winning 3-0), Pieter-Jan Postma NED (3-1), Niklas Dackhammar SWE (3-2) and Chris Steele NZL (3-0).
