Moth - World Championship 2017 - Malcesine ITA - Final results, the Swiss

The 2017 Moth World Championship on Lake Garda was concluded yesterday with 3 races sailed in a moderate Ora breeze with lull patches asking for careful tactics. Paul Goodison GBR secured the title after two races already ahead of Peter Burling NZL who defended rank 2 by a small margin inspite of his worst race ranks in this championship. Iain Jensen AUS, ranks 6/1/5 defended the third place, but the best of the day Tom Slingsby AUS (1/3/1) on 4th is only 2 points behind in the final rankings. Arnaud Psarofaghis SUI advanced on the 16th position, Adriano Petrino SUI and Guillaume Rigot SUI finished on the ranks 40 and 42. The best woman Annalies Murphy IRL is 51st.
