420 - European Championship 2017 - Athen GRE - Final results, the Swiss

The 420 European Championship 2017 ended yesterday with two races.
Telis Athanasopoulos/Dimitris Tassios GRE succeeded to replace Eduardo Ferraro/Francesco ITA on rank one in the 420 Open/Boys in the last race. Bronze went to Tal Shariti/Noam Homri ISR. Demange/Guimbertaud FRA on 4th missed the medal by 6 points. Achille Casco/Manuel Herbst SUI finished the Championship on rank 17 of the Silverfleet (= 57th overall).
Spain celebrated a 1 and 2 in the 420 Girls with Maria Caba/Pilar Caba ESP and Marta Garrido/Clara Llabres ESP. Emma Kaneti/Ciara Rodriguez USA came back strongly after the disaster Saturday (ranks 1 and 4) and earned Bronze. Despite of a premature start, Simona Hegi/Sarina Böhler SUI advanced on rank 52.
First in the U17 rankings are Demetrio Sposato/Gabriele Centrano ITA with a 20 points advantage.
