Match Racing - Championnat de France - Pornichet FRA - Day 1, the Swiss

A fresh breeze prevailed on the opening day of the French Matchracing Championship, sailed on catamarans this year. After two fleetraces of the qualification phase, racing was abandoned by race management after a number of broken masts.
Eric Monnin SUI and his team had a successfull day with the ranks 1 and 2. Nelson Mettraux SUI won the first race, but was forced to retire with a broken mast. Jan Eckert SUI finished one race on rank 2.
The results. The overall ranking list is not yet meaningful, as only half of the teams have been racing.
