A-Cat - World Championship 2017 - Sopot POL - Day 3, the Swiss

The Qualification Series at the A-Cat World Championship in Sopot POL was concluded yesterday with two races sailed in a 12 kn breeze, and the first races of the Gold- and Silverfleets were started immediately.
Steve Brewin AUS has taken the overall lead ahead of Dave Shaw NZL, ranks 1 and 2 in the last Qualificiation races, moving up on 2nd overall four points behind Brewin. Jakub Surowiec POL follows on 3rd with a 10 points' backlog. Sandro Caviezel SUI started the day again convincingly with the ranks 4 and 5, but had a downer in the first Final heat with the 31st place relegating him on the 10th position overall. Continuing the Championship in the Goldfleet are also Luc du Bois SUI (rank 37), Daniel Caviezel SUI (rankg 38), Nils Palmieri SUI (rank 45) and Charles Bueche SUI (rank 49).
