Star - European Championship 2017 - San Remo ITA, the Swiss

The Starboat European Championship begins today in San Remo ITA with the Practice Race. 56 teams from 16 nations are on the entry list. Among the favorites are Diego Negri/Sergio Lambertenghi ITA on their home waters as well as the Olympia medalists Torben Grael BRA and Lars Grael BRA or the past World Championsr Augie Diaz/Bruno Prada USA/BRA. Switzerland is represented with 8 boats, as many as never in the last years. Good results can be expected above all from Jean-Pascal Chartagny/Serge Pulfer SUI and Urs Hunkeler/Alex Gouda. Ligh winds have been forecast for the entire week.
