Star - European Championship 2017 - San Remo ITA - Day 1, the Swiss

The Starboat European Championship 2017 began in San Remo ITA yesterday with two races sailed in light winds. The first leaders - already at some distance - are Augie Diaz/Bruno Prada USA with the da ranks 1 and 2. Merkelbach/Koy GER and Macdonald/Nichol USA follow on the ranks 2 and 3. Jean-Pascal Chatagny/Serge Pulfer SUI had a good first day with an 8th place overall just ahead of the five-times Olympic medalist Torben Grael BRA. Bernhard Seger/Walter Oess SUI follow on the 11th position. 50 teams from 16 nations participate.
