Optimist - World Championship 2018 - Limassol CYP - Day 7

All four fleets completed another two races in a 15kn breeze yesterday on the second-last day of the Optimist World Championship on Cyprus.
The outstanding dominator of the event, Marco Gradoni ITA, was after 9 bullets for the first time defeated. His second race rank is now the discard result on his score sheet. Behind the Italian are Panwa Boonak THA and new Thommy Sitzmann USA on the ranks 2 and 3. Stephen Baker USA on 4th with a 5 points' backlog on Silver remains in the race for a Medal.
The Swiss lost some ranks: Boris Hirsch SUI is now 19th, Anja Von Allmen SUI follows on rank 32, Jeanlou Lauber SUI is 61st all three sailing in the Goldfleet.
