Star - Bacardi-Cup 2019 - Miami FL, USA - Day 1, the Swiss

Moderate and very shifty winds prevailed during the first race at the 92nd edition of the Star Bacardi-Cup in Miami, a very long race according to the tradition of this competition. Winners were the defending champions Diego Negri/Sergio Lambertenghi ITA ahead of the local veteran Augie Diaz USA with Bruno Prada BRA and Eric Doyle/Payson Infelise USA. Dan Wyss/Alex Gouda SUI followed on rank 50, Christoph Gautschi/Nils Holweg SUI took a premature start disqualification, as did one of the favorites Mateusz Kusznierewicz POL/Frithjof Kleen GER.
