Olympic Classes - Trofeo Princesa Sofia - Palma ESP - Day 3 - the Swiss

Yesterday, racing continued in most classes with the Final Series, sailed in somewhat fresher winds.
Mateo Sanz-Lanz SUI is now the sole leader in the RS:X windsurfers ! All other Swiss could not confirm their excellent performance of the previous day and lost some ranks, but all continue the competition in the Goldfleets.
Nils Theuninck SUI in the Finns and Maud Jayet SUI in the Lasers Radial are both down on rank 12, and will have to fight for the Medal Race qualification (rank 10) today. Eliot Merceron SUI moved up on rank 18 in the Lasers Standard. On the way up are also Linda Fahrni/Maja Siegenthaler SUI in the 470 women. As 16th, they are only 11 points behind rank 10 (Medal Race). Sébastien Schneiter/Lucien Cujean SUI in the 49ers however had a bad day, dropping on rank 29. In exchange, Maxime Bachelin/Arno De Planta SUI advanced on rank 23 qualifying for the Goldfleet as from today ! In the 470 men, Kilian Wagen/Grégoire Siegwart SUI descended on rank 33.
The best results of the development sailors came from Rosine Baudet SUI in the Radials now on 48th and Yves Mermod/Cyril Schüpbach SUI, 470 men, on 55th.
