Laser - Semaine Olympique - Hyères FRA - Day 5

The qualifications for the Medal Race of today were concluded yesterday with three races sailed in the windiest conditions so far with up to 30kn.
With two bullets, Matthew Wearn AUS made everything clear and won prematurely with an advantage of 23 points on Sam Meech NZL. Another 5 points behind follows Luke Elliott GBR on 3rd fighting for Bronze with Tom Burton AUS 5 points more.
In the Lasers Radial, Maria Erdi HUN extended her lead on Tuula Tenkanen FIN to 7 points and the two will fight for victory today. Emma Plaesschart BEL is on a solid 3rd place.
