Tour de belle Ile - Quiberon FRA

With over 400 boats on the starting line (3 km long !), from small 20-foot yachts to Open 60s and Maxi-Trimarans - the Tour de Belle Ile is the best-attended regatta at the French Atlantic Coast. Starting on the Bay of Quiberon, the course leads over 42nm around Belle Ile and back. After almost 5 hours, Alain Gautier FRA with his ORMA-60-Trimaran crossed the finish line 3 minutes ahead of Francis Joyon FRA with his trimaran 'IDEC'.
