The Copa del Rey in Palma de Mallorca ESP was concluded yesterday, again with perfect sailing conditions. 122 yachts in 11 categories participated in this traditional event with HM Felipe, King of Spain handing over the Trophies at the end of the event. ---- Separated by one point each, 'Cannonball' of Dario Ferrari ITA (YCCS/YCI) finished first in the IRC class ahead of 'Proteus' of George Sakellaris USA (New York YC) on 2nd and 'Bella Mente' of Hap Fauth USA (New York YC) on 3rd. -----Jean-Jacques Chaubard FRA is the winner in the ORC-0-rankings (TP52). In der ORC-1-rankings, Luis Doreste ESP on a DK46 is on top. José Coello ESP with his Sinergia 40 won in the die IRC-2-rankings. 'Velum Lucerna' of Augusto Sanguineti SUI on rank 5 in the ORC-2-rankings delivered the best Swiss result.
