In a close infight of the leading two Ultim-Trimarans, 'Edmond de Rothschild' Franck Cammas/Charles Caudrelier FRA overtook the leading 'Macif' of François Gabart FRA on the last metres of the 608-Mile-Race, finishing the Fastnet Race 56 seconds ahead in a new record time. Four Multihull completed the race by this morning UTC. ----- Leading in the Monohulls at 5:45 UTC was 'Rambler 88' of George David USA 4nm ahead of 'Scallywag' with David Witt AUS.
