M32-Catamaran - Pre-Worlds - Riva ITA - Day 1, Richard Davies SUI

The M32 catamarans started to the Pre-Worlds on Lake Garda yesterday tuning-up for the World Championship beginning next Tuesday. The Ora did not materialise, but nevertheless, four races could be held in a moderate North wind around 10kn. ----- Dan Wilson USA (with Taylor Canfield ISV) took the overall lead ahead of Dan Cheresh GBR (with Ian Williams GBR). Richard Davies SUI had a troublesome day with a premature start disqualificstion, a man over board situation and a race win and is only on rank 9 among the 11 teams. ----- The news with results.
