Star - Bacardi Cup - Miami FL, USA - Day 1, the Swiss

Peter and Robert O'Leary IRL won the first race of the 93rd Bacardi Cup on a very long course, as the tradition at this event. The World Champions Mateusz Kusznierewicz POL/Bruno Prada BRA and Paul Cayard USA/Pedro Trouche BRA finished on the rank 2 and 3. ----- The two Swiss teams had a good first day with ranks in the first half of the fleet: Christoph and Tina Gautschi SUI 31st, Dan Wyss/Urs Joss SUI 32nd. ----- 65 Stars from 15 countries were racing under classic Biscayne Bay conditions of 12-15 knots from the Southeast, a very steady breeze with only small oscillations. ----- The results and the report by Paul Cayard USA.
