49er, 49erFX, Nacra 17 - Olympic Qualifier Europe - Lanzarote ESP - Day 4 - the Swiss

Yesterday, the Final Series started on Lanzarote with three races held for the first time in moderate conditions with flat waters. ----- In the 49ers, Diego Botin/Iago Lopez ESP continued to pull away with the day ranks 1/2/1, leading Jonas Warrer/Jakob Precht DEN now by 13 points. Robert Dickson/Sean Waddilove IRL follow in third place, thus still holding the last Tokyo Olympic berth. Their closest rivals Ferrarese/Togni ITA are already 38 points back in 12th. Sébastien Schneiter/Lucien Cujean SUI managed a 2nd runner-up finish yesterday, moving up to 8th place overall. ----- In 49ersFX, Martine Grael/Kahena Kunze BRA are now 16 points ahead, with Alexandra Maloney/Molly Meech NZL new on 2nd. Four more points back, Baad-Nielsen/Thusgaard DEN and Roble/Shea USA are tied for 3rd and 4th. The fight for the Olympic berth: Maenhaut/Geurts BEL are 7th, just one point ahead of Nincevic/Zjena CRO. ----- Tara Pacheco/Florian Trittel ESP continued their strong performance in the Nacra 17 with 1/1/2. Their lead over Paul Kohlhoff/Alica Stuhlemmer GER is now already 11 points.
