ILCA, 29er, various classes - Olympic Week - Valencia ESP - Day 3

After just enough wind for one race on Friday, there were good conditions off Valencia yesterday, and four races were sailed. In addition to the ILCAs and the 29ers, more classes started their Olympic week yesterday. ----- In the ILCA 6, Cristina Pujol ESP took the lead one point ahead of Massimiliano Antoniazzi ITA. Ennio Turrin SUI just missed the qualification for the Gold fleet, and is now 2nd in the Silverfleet (=61st overall). ----- In the large fleet of ILCA 4, Joan Fargas ESP is leading. Alina Shapovalova UKR follows as the best woman on rank 5, and Ava Wilson SUI is 15th of the 75 participants. The first races were held yesterday for Finn, Snipe, A-Cat, Vaurien, and Hobie 16. ----- All rankings and the event website.
