International Classes - Kieler Woche - Kiel GER - Day 6

After the Olympic part of Kiel Week, the international classes started their races yesterday. In perfect conditions with sunshine and moderate easterly winds, 3 races each could be sailed. In the Eurocup of the 29er Ewa Lewandowska/Leon Sapijaszko POL and Clementine and Nathan Van Steenberge BEL took the lead with two race wins in their group each. The Swiss teams follow in midfield, the best being Theodor Kowalewsky/Noah Strempfer SUI in 62nd place oft the 149 teams. At the German championship of the J/70, Malte Winkel GER and his team have taken the lead with one point ahead of Michael Grau GER. Another point behind, Carsten Kemmling GER and Stefan Seger SUI share 3rd place. The 150-strong fleet of the ILCA 6 is led by Paul Ulrich GER, in the ILCA 4 Levian Büscher GER already leads clearly with two race wins.
