An intensive race day with three heats sailed in a 10-12 kn wind challenged the teams at its utmost. In addition to the unconstant and circling breeze, there was 'gardening' on the program, as the huge sea-weed patches influenced the ranking substantially.
Yannick Brauchli/Romuald Hausser SUI realized three fair races allowing them to advance on rank 18. The Medal Race is most probably too far away, but the selection objective of Swiss Olympic - 12th nation - is still within reach, as the backlog is only 18 points, compensable in the last two races today.
Completely stuck in the sea weed were Linda Fahrni/Maja Siegenthaler SUI finishing three times in the last third of the fleet. A major drop on rank 17 overall was the consequence.
