Yesterday was day one of the well-attended CIP in Marseille and a freshening South-West wind prevailed.
The elder Minimes fleet, split in four Groups, sailed one race in an up to 30 kn breeze. Race winners were Calixte Benoit FRA, Lucas Teillet FRA, Tom Marsan FRA and Alexander Hubmann SUI. 181 Optimists finished the race, 120 abandoned.
