Laser Radial - Women World Championship 2016 - Nuevo Vallarta MEX - Day 5

The seabreeze filled in late on the first day of the Final Series races at the Laser Radial Women's Worlds in Mexico. Two races were completed in moderate winds. Finishing 1 and 3, Alison Young GBR is the new leader, as the previous first and clear favorite Marit Bouwmeester NED had a downer (rank 17) in addition the a 2nd race rank and slipped on rank 2 overall one point back. Paige Railey USA remains 3rd followed by two other experience athletes, Gintare Scheidt-Volungeviciute LTU and the defending Champion Anne-Marie Rindom DEN.
