Finn - Gold Cup/World Championship 2016 - Gaeta ITA - Final results

The Medal Race, concluding the Finn Gold Cup in Gaeta ITA, was sailed close to the boardwalks of the historical old town in a wind from the shore. Giles Scott GBR was the premature World Champion - his fourth in a row - before the last race already, and also Jonas Hoegh-Christensen DEN on rank 2 started with a sound advantage to the Medal Race that he completed as winner. In the tight battle for Bronze, it was Pieter-Jan Postma NED who defended the 3rd place.
