420, 29er, Laser, 505, Europe, Pirat - Young European Sailing (YES) - Kiel GER - Day 2
Monday, May 16, 2016
Racing at the YES on Kiel Bay was disturbed yesterday by a passing thunderstorm front with wind peaks of 8 bft. However, every class completed one race in the morning in sunshine and a 4 bft breeze, before the storm filled in chasing the fleets back ashore.
In the 420 German Internationals, the Lake Constance team Konstantin Steidle/Tom Lembcke GER defended the first place but winning the day's only race, Philipp and Jonas Royla GER reduced the backlog on one point. Inga-Marie Hofmann/Henrike Leitl GER on rank 3 remain the best girls' team.
In the 470s, Frederike Loewe/Anna Markfort GER stay on top overall. In the 5o5s, Wolfgang Hunger/Holger Jess GER continue their winning streak. First in the 29ers are Gwendal Lamay/Luke Willim GER just one point ahead of Jens-Philipp Dehn/Christoffer Langballe DEN.
All results and the daily news.
