J/70 - European Championship 2016 - Kiel GER - Day 3

Light and variable winds prevailed on the third day of the J/70 Europeans in Kiel, and the first race went underway after a series of general recalls only. One third of the big fleet were finally disqualified for preliminary start infringements. The leading Claudia Rossi ITA and her team extended the advantage on 5 points. Edoardo Lupi ITA and Charlie Esse GBR, another 14 points back, follow on the rank 2 and 3.
