As reported yesterday, the JJ Giltinan Regatta sailed race 5 in light winds with 'Asko Appliances' of Marcus Ashley-Jones AUS as winner, 3:11 min ahead of 'Harken' with Howie Hamlin USA. 'C-Tech' of Alex Vallings NZL followed on rank 3. First in the overall rankings (without discard) is 'Thurlow Fisher Lawyers' with Michael Coxon AUS, but there will be a close-up with the discard in effect after 6 races. The crucial decision for the title will fall in the 7th and final race on Sunday. Today is lay day, tomorrow Saturday, race 6 will be sailed.
