49er, 49erFX, Nacra 17 - European Championship 2020 - Attersee AUT - Day 3

Sime and Mihail Fantela CRO were again the dominators of the day with the ranks 3/1/1 in the 49ers and extended their lead overall. Bart Lambriex/Pim Van Vugt NED remained on 2nd not too far from the top. New on rank 3 are Umberto Crivelli/Leonardo Chiste ITA. Improvements also for the Swiss teams: Sébastien Schneiter/Lucien Cujean FRA advanced on rank 5, Maxime Bachelin/Arno De Planta SUI - among the best of the day with the ranks 1/2/7 - are now up on rank 10 and qualified for the Gold fleet. ----- In the 49ersFX, Tina Lutz/Susann Beucke GER extended their lead with two bullets. Helen Naess/Marie Rönningen NOR defended the 2nd place. New on the 3rd position are Julia Gross/Hanna Klinga SWEr. After an unsuccessful opening day, Sophie Mosegaard/Fiona Schärer SUI confirmed their talents with two 7th race ranks, lifting them on rank 34 overall. ----- In the Nacras 17, the Olympic Champions Santiago Lange/Cecilia Carranza ARG are up on rank 1, followed now by John Gimson/Anna Burnet GBR. Ruggero Tita/Caterina Banti ITA follow in the 3rd place. ----- Moderate winds, and for the first time some sunshine prevailed, allowing the three Olympic speed classes to complete the full program. ----- The daily news and the video of the day.
