49er, 49erFX, Nacra 17 - Winter Series - Lanzarote ESP - Day 3

The qualifications for Gold and Silverfleet were completed yesterday with three races by class. ----- In the 49ers, Diego Botin/Iago Lopez ESP moved up to first place with three race wins. Jonas Warrer/Jakob Precht DEN follow 3 points behind in 2nd place. Robert Dickson/Sean Waddilove IRL in 3rd place are the best of the teams fighting for the last European Olympic starting berth. ----- In the 49ersFX, Martine Grael/Kahena Kunze BRA took the lead. Annemiek Bekkering/Anette Duetz NED in 2nd are already 10 points back. In 7th place, Enja Nincevic/Mihaela Zjena CRO are the best of the teams not yet qualified for Olympics. ----- In the Nacra 17, Tara Pacheco/Florian Trittel ESP progressed on rank one, as Paul Kohlhoff/Alica Stuhlemmer GER lost their overall lead after abandoning the third race of the day. The last Olympic starting berth is currently held by Sinem Kurtbay/Janne Jarvine FIN in 6th. ----- Racing will continue today with the Final Series, the 49ers split in Gold and Silver Fleets.
