ILCA 6 & 7 - Coach-Regatta II - Vilamoura POR - Day 1

After the last Olympic Qualifier, many cracks of the two Olympic classes stayed in Portugal for their preparations for the Games. Yesterday, the second part of a Coach regatta began in Vilamoura, where two heats were sailed in light winds. ----- In the ILCA 7, Jemin Ha KOR clearly took the lead with two race wins. Charlie Buckingham USA and Edoardo Marques POR were the first to follow. Some of the favorites struggled: Jean-Baptiste Bernaz FRA follows in 10th, Robert Scheidt BRA is 16th and Philipp Buhl GER 18th out of the 50 competitors. ----- In the ILCA 6, Ekaterina Zyuzina RUS leads ahead of Anne-Marie Rindom DEN and Dolores Moreira URU. ----- All rankings.
