470 - Junior World Championship 2021 - San Remo ITA - Day 3

After a light wind race in the morning, an up to 20kn breeze filled in during yesterday afternoon, allowing to complete another race, but more than 30% of the fleet was eliminated as early starters. ----- This included Matisse Pacaud/Lucie De Gennes FRA, who thus had to let Marco Gradoni/Alessandra Dubbini ITA slip away at the top of the 470 Mixed. The Italians can make everything clear today in the last final races before the Medal Race on Saturday, as their lead is already 16 points. Maria Marchesini/Bruno Festa ITA are still on rank 3, now equal on points with rank 2. ----- In the Open ranking, Niclas Lehmann/Niklas Haberl AUT extended their lead to 5 points with two 2nd race ranks. Thanks to two day wins, Shawn Harvey/Noble Reynoso USA moved up to 3rd place, tied for 2nd. ----- All rankings and the daily report.
