Ultime, IMOCA Open 60, Class 40, IRC - Fastnet Race - Cherbourg FRA - Day 3

The large fleet of this year's Fastnet Race has stretched far and wide. So far only 5 multihulls have finished the race and last night the new 125-foot maxi 'Scorpio' with Fernando Echevarri was the first monohull to finish. Today in the early hours of the morning, the 88-foot maxi 'Rambler' of George David USA and the first IMOCA Open 60, 'Apivia' with Charlie Dalin/Paul Meilhat FRA, have also finished.In the Open 60 class, 'Charal' (Jérémy Béyou FRA/Christopher Pratt GBR) and 2 miles behind '11th hour' with Justine Mettraux SUI/Simon Fisher GBR are having a close duel for second place with 60 miles to go. In the Class 40, Antoine Magre FRA and his team are leading, 'Banque du Léman' with Simon Koster/Valentin Gautier/Alan Roura SUI have moved up to third place, only 10 miles behind.
