Meanwhile, 9 multis and 50 of the 232 monohulls remaining in the race have crossed the finish line in Cherbourg. After the superior victories of 'Edmond de Rothschild' (Ultime Trimarans), 'Skorpios' (Monohull) and 'Apivia' (IMOCA Open 60), the Class 40 concluded the race in a close finish. 'Palanade 3' with Antoine Magre FRA relegated the team of 'Banque du Léman' with Simon Koster/Valentin Gautier/Alan Roura SUI to second place by 7 minutes. Even closer was the finish for second place in the IMOCA Open 60.
