Yesterday was a rest day in Piombino. After the first 6 races, Claude Mermod/Ruedi Moser SUI have so far lived up to their role as favourites, leading by 4 points over Luca Stefanini/Stefano Borzani ITA. The European Championships has to do without the otherwise dominant Englishmen, who were unable to travel to the event due to Corona travel restrictions.
