Persico 69F - Youth Foiling Gold Cup - Grand Final - Cagliari ITA - Day 1

The final of the Youth Foiling Gold Cup with the first two teams of each of the 3 Acts run this year started yesterday with two races. At stake is a 50,000 EUR prize money as well as the qualificastion for the Persico Pro Cup held in 2 weeks' time with top cracks from Olympic sailing. ----- The day's victories went to 'Young Azzurra' with Ettore Botticine ITA and 'Team Argentina' with Dante Citadini ARG. The Argentines also led in the first race, but then fell far behind due to a capsize.
