In the run-up to next week's joint World Championships for the Olympic speed classes, the skiffs in Oman are currently sailing the Asian Championship, which many teams are using as a final training session. ----- After 8 races, Fredrik Rask/Jacob Precht DEN lead the 49ers 17 points ahead of Andrew Mollerus/Ian Macdiarmid USA. Meggendorfer/Spranger GER follow in 4th place.
