ILCA 6 & 7 - Master World Championship 2021 - Barcelona ESP - Final results - the Swiss

In light winds, the World Masters were decided yesterday morning in Barcelona. ----- In the ILCA 7, the titles went to Wannes Van Laer BEL (Apprentice), and to Ernesto Rodriguez USA in the Masters. ----- The title also went to the USA in the Grand Masters: Robert Hallawell USA won by a large margin. The 1992 Finn Olympic Champion Jose-Maria Van der Ploeg ESP moved up to 3rd place. ----- A prominent podium in the Great Grand Masters too : The Finn Olympic Champion 88 José-Luis Doreste ESP won ahead of Finn World Champion 80 Wolfgang Gerz GER and Laser European Champion 1977 Tim Law GBR. ----- In ILCA 6, Jon Emmett GBR (Apprentice) and Stefan Eriksson SWE (Master) are on top. ----- Gilles Coadou FRA won the Grand Master with a large lead over FD Olympic Champion 1980 Miguel Noguer ESP. Jean-François De Cerjeat FRA was 21st. ----- In the Great Grand Master, Bill Symes USA was the early winner. ----- And in the Legends, Peter Seidenberg USA took another title. ----- All rankings, the report and the video of the day.p
